I knew now that how arrogant, short-sighted and hopelessly self-centered I was. Via this website, I invite you to join on to our journey to seek that complete truth. One never knows, you might have that answer which Muni was looking for. You might be standing very near to the door of full enlightenment.
Where Are We?
It was a very early morning of September 1992 at Palitana in Gujarat, India. There was a small gathering and a young Jain muni (monk) asked me by pointing out to my father that: who was he? I said, my father. Muni asked “Is that a COMPLETE Truth? I was confused and muni explained, your father is a grandfather to your son, your father is a brother to your uncle a husband to your mother and right now he is here as a member of this group called the Snatra Mandal. Muni asked me once again with a smile, please give me a full and a complete answer, pointing at my father again that: who is this gentleman? I did not have an answer, which could be labeled as a Complete Answer. I was confused, actually, I was lost and started thinking why don’t I have a full and a complete answer?
Jay Jinendra. Welcome to the first page of Anekantvad, a syadwad theory. Within few minutes, on that superb September morning of Palitana, that focused, methodical and a smiling Muni took me beyond the names, beyond the faith and beyond the time to explain that we all are to gather, we are on a journey in search of the Complete Truth. I felt my ego was crushed totally. I realized, how little or insignificant I knew of anything.
